A career Foreign Service Officer, Andrew Chritton arrived in Quito on September 6, 2008, as Deputy Chief of Mission. Prior to this assignment, Mr. Chritton was the Deputy Chief of Mission in Kampala, Uganda, from August 2006 to July 2008. He has served in Washington, D.C. in the offices of Monetary Affairs in the Economic Bureau of the Department of State, and in the offices of North Central and South Central Europe. Overseas he has served in Panama, Malawi, Yugoslavia, Zambia, and Chile.
Mr. Chritton is a graduate of Yale University and Stanford University’s Food Research Institute. He and his wife, Jody, have three children.
