Language Testing Policy:

Effective January 2009 a new testing policy was issued for recruitment.

If you are out of the country, read the testing policy for instructions.

You may use any form of curriculum to apply for a job at the Embassy. Applications are accepted until 5:00 PM on the closing date, those received later, will not be included in the process.

If you apply for more than one position, you must submit test results and a different application for each position.

According to the recruitment policy, applicants must submit the language results from BLS along with the application in order to be considered. (see details on vacancy announcements). Applications with no test results attached will not be considered.

For outside candidates, test results must be submitted on a letterhead, properly signed and sealed by the testing Institution. Scanned copies must be submitted along with the application. Include the scale used. Remember, if you are out of Ecuador, you must submit both English and Spanish proficiency test results along with your application.
 

Note: The Embassy does not keep resumes in file, therefore you must submit a new application each time a new position opens.
