Read carefully the requirements of the positions announced. If you do not meet ALL the requirements of the position your application will not be considered.
If you have ALL the requirements for a specific position follow the next steps:
For Ecuadorians: Download a job application or send a current curriculum. Application will be received at the American Embassy in Quito until the deadline marked on the positions through: 1. E-mail at hroquito@state.gov; 2. via fax to 256-2890 Ext. 4010; or 3 Drop at the reception of the Embassy.
For American Citizens: You must have a work permit or type of visa that allows you to work. Download a job application or send a current curriculum. Application will be received at the American Embassy in Quito before the deadline marked via: 1. E-mail at hroquito@state.gov; 2. via fax to 256-2890 Ext. 4010; or 3. delivery at the Embassy’s reception desk.
Due to the volume of applications that we receive only “short-listed” candidates will be contacted. HRO does not keep a database with prospective candidates after position is filled. If you submit our application form DO NOT send support documentation of any kind.
If you submit your curriculum DO NOT send original support documentation (certificates, diplomas, etc), please send only copies relevant to the position you are applying for. Applications not in response to an specific opening and those that do not meet all the requirements will not be considered or retained in the Human Resources Office (HRO).
The English level of the position announces will be tested by HRO.
