English Language Fellow Conducted Workshop for English Teachers at Mejia High School in Quito

A group of 17 English teachers participated in a 15-hour workshop at Instituto Nacional Mejía, May 5 thru 7.  The U.S. Government and Fulbright Commission’s English Language Fellow, Dayna House, presented an intensive program focusing on Reading, Writing, Speaking and Lesson-Planning skills to all the teachers from the English Language Department.  Mejía High School is one of the largest all boys public schools in Quito, with over 5,000 students enrolled. (images)
