English Teaching Workshops

On September 11 and 13th, the Regional English Language Officer, Kitty Johnson, taught a workshop to over 40 teachers from Quito municipal schools. During the eight hour workshop, teachers learned new methodologies such as cooperative learning and multiple intelligence, helpful for teaching english to large classes with diverse language levels.

This is the first time the Municipal Educational department takes part in English Language training with delegations from the following eight schools: Unidad Educativa Sucre, Juilo Moreno, Unidad Educativa Quitumbe, Unidad Educativa Espejo, Oswaldo Lombeyda, San Francisco de Quito, Fernandez Madríd y CEMEPP.
