STEP 3:
Organize Documents
Business and Tourist Visas (B1/B2), are the most requested Visas, therefore there are specific items that you must present. Should you want another Visa you should consult the table for more information and the additional requirements.
- Valid passport (that will not expire in 6 months);
- All previous passports;
- One (1) recent 2"x2" photograph in white background taken within the last six months. We do not accept photos that are retouched or altered;
- Payment's receipt of US$131.00 of Processing Fee from the Banco de Guayaquil;
- Completed form DS-156 EVAF with the corresponding bar code page;
- Completed form DS-157 (print and fill out by hand);
- If you are under 18 years old, you should bring a certified photocopy birth certificate and some family photos. Both parents have to be present at the interview for minors under 18, even if the parents are divorced or separated.
Supporting documents that can demonstrate employment or student status:
- Employment certification, showing salary and time of service.
- Recent pay invoices and salary receipts.
- A copy of your university degree/status.
Supporting documents that can demonstrate economic stability:
- Original bank and credit card statements for the past year. We do not accept bank "certificates." Please bring 6 to 12 months of statements showing accounts movements.
- If you own property: Statements defining what you own.
- Proof of rent payments for the past 3 years.
- Tax payer Id.
Supporting documents that can demonstrate familial bonds:
Certificate of identity.
Certified photocopy of birth certificate.
Marriage Certificate.
Divorce Certificate.
Death Certificate.
