VISA CLASSIFICATIONS
Athletes & Artists (P)
To apply for this type of visa, the applicant must be assigned or transferred as a part of a Multinational company that has offices or locations in the United States. This classification is divided into the following types:
| P1 | Artist assigned or transferred to the United States on the behalf of a Multi-national corporation. |
| P2 | A recognized international artist in a mutual exchange program. |
| P3 | An artist with unique cultural characteristics. |
| P4 | The spouse or children under 21 years old of the P1, P2, and P3 visa holders. |
This visa requires the approval of the Department of Homeland Security in the United States. The office of the company or business wishing to contract your services must complete the I-129 form and present it to the Immigration Services in the United States (USCIS).
Once the petition is approved Immigration Services will send the I-797 notice of approval to the registered address.
- Valid passport (which will not expire in 6 months);
- All previous passports;
- One 2"x2" recent passport photograph on white background;
- A receipt of payment to Banco de Guayaquil (131.00USD);
- Completed Form DS-156 EVAF with corresponding barcodes (electronically);
- Completed Form DS-157 (Printed and fill out by hand);
- Completed Form I-797 (Notice of Approval).
Applicants for this type of visa must come to the Embassy at the specified date and time given by the call center.
