VISA CLASSIFICATIONS
Athletes & Artists (P)

To apply for this type of visa, the applicant must be assigned or transferred as a part of a Multinational company that has offices or locations in the United States.  This classification is divided into the following types:

 P1Artist assigned or transferred to the United States on the behalf of a Multi-national corporation.
 P2A recognized international artist in a mutual exchange program.
 P3An artist with unique cultural characteristics.
 P4The spouse or children under 21 years old of the P1, P2, and P3 visa holders.

This visa requires the approval of the Department of Homeland Security in the United States.  The office of the company or business wishing to contract your services must complete the I-129 form and present it to the Immigration Services in the United States (USCIS).

Once the petition is approved Immigration Services will send the I-797 notice of approval to the registered address.

  1. Valid passport (which will not expire in 6 months);
  2. All previous passports;
  3. One 2"x2" recent passport photograph on white background;
  4. A receipt of payment to Banco de Guayaquil (131.00USD);
  5. Completed Form DS-156 EVAF with corresponding barcodes (electronically);
  6. Completed Form DS-157 (Printed and fill out by hand);
  7. Completed Form I-797 (Notice of Approval).

Applicants for this type of visa must come to the Embassy at the specified date and time given by the call center.
