VISA CLASSIFICATIONS
Intracompany Transferees (L)

Applicants applying for this type of visa must be assigned or transferred to the US offices of a multinational company. The classification of this type of visa is:

L1  A worker assigned or transferred to the United States.
L2  The spouse and/or children under 21 years of age of a L1 Visa holder.
 
This visa requires the approval of the Department of Homeland Security in the United States.  The office of the company or business associated with the applicant must complete the I-129 form and present it to the Immigration Services in the United States (USCIS).

After the request is approved, Immigration Services will send the I-797 form to the address that has been registered in the system.

Necessary Requirements:

  1. Valid passport (which will not expire in 6 months);
  2. All previous passports;
  3. One 2"x2" recent passport photograph on white background;
  4. A receipt of payment to Banco de Guayaquil (131.00USD);
  5. Completed Form DS-156 EVAF with corresponding barcodes (electronically);
  6. Completed Form DS-157 (Print and fill out by hand);
  7. Form I-797 (Notice of Approval).

Additional Requirements

• Pay an additional 500.00 USD to obtain the L-1 Visa Blanket.

Applicants for this type of visa must come to the Embassy at the specified date and time given by the call center.
