Fight Against Illegal Drugs

The U.S. Embassy works with the Ecuadorian National Police, military forces and the criminal justice to disrupt criminal organizations that transit drugs and traffick persons through Ecuador from neighboring countries, by helping to secure the borders, providing training and equipment and promoting economic development in the affected areas.
