The U.S. Embassy works closely with the Government of Ecuador, civil society, the private sector and a host of non-governmental organizations to delivery the highest-quality assistance to the people of Ecuador and help achieve the shared goals of stability, democracy, and prosperity.

A number of offices and U.S. Government agencies are part of this cooperation.  From humanitarian assistance to technical cooperation with police and counternarcotics entities, to helping persons with disabilities participate in the electoral process, we are proud to present information regarding this friendly, mutually-beneficial engagement.  The Peace Corps, USAID, the Fullbright Commission and a number of other groups have decades of experience investing in the people and institutions of Ecuador.

Ambassador Linda Jewell has said, “We are much more than just one kind of relationship.  The U.S. and Ecuador enjoy a robust relationship that encompasses an impressive network of assistance and support.  Viewing what we do and what we are able to accomplish together, it is evident that this is a relationship among friends and neighbors – amigos y socios.”
