OUTREACH

The last of the Embassy’s Conference series at Universidad de las Americas took place on May 23rd.  The roundtable discussion was on the topic of Free Trade and Commercial Relations with the participation of Commercial Counselor, Jim Sullivan, and Economic Section Officer, Josh Cartin.  A panel of  three students from the Economics and Administration department presented on behalf of the university, and approximately 80 students participated in the Q&A session. 

Issues such as the history of free trade, bilateral commercial relations between governments and private US investment in Ecuador were discussed at length amongst the participants and audience alike.
